Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the beginning of summer vacations, barbeques, and pool parties with families and friends.


More importantly it's a day we honor our troops who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Mothers Day ♥

May 12th is Mothers Day

 How nice to have a day set aside to remember our mothers or someone who nurtured us - it's a good thing because sometimes we need a gentle reminder to stop and appreciate.

I will always love the story of a mother serving her favorite pie to family and friends only to realize that she was one piece short.  Upon this discovery she declares that pie was not her preferred dessert and gives away the last piece.
